Town Housing

A new housing model is needed for the towns of today and tomorrow. Sited in Clarksdale, Mississippi, an historic Delta town approximately 75 miles south of Memphis, participants are to design housing for a community of 100, along with a commercial space that will serve as a hub and public face of the community. We invite imaginative proposals that promote adaptive growth, environmental stewardship, and community vitality in places often overlooked by contemporary architecture and urban planning.
